Weighing in at only 617g (1.4 pounds), the Qumi is the first LED pocket projector to be 3D-ready via Texas Instruments’ DLP® Link™ technology and Pico chipset. The Qumi’s touch sensitive button controls and sleek design is ready to be used with a variety of devices, including, but not limited to digital cameras, laptops, smart phones and tablets. Vivitek’s Qumi projector is versatile and portable enough for both work and play, making it ideal for sharing digital content.
In terms of connectivity, it has the usual HDMI and VGA connection options giving you maximum flexibility with macs and laptops and it also has micro SD and USB ports for stand alone projection without a laptop.
Its also comes with all the Apple cables you will need to connect the latest ipads, iphones etc which at £40 a cable makes it a great deal. Just connect your ipad and iphone and project movies onto an 80” to 100” screen.
Despite its tremendous image quality, the Qumi projector is so small and light it could be almost be classed as a pocket projector so you get the best of both worlds in terms of image quality and portability (16 x 10 x 3.2 cm W x H x D).
Overall, this is the best product we’ve seen to date in the LED portable projector market and it offers outstanding value (with the included Apple cables) and does not compromise on design, image quality or ultra portability.
