Orders/ Payment

Please note:You will be billed in £ British Pounds Sterling for all orders regardless of the country you order from. It is your responsibility to attain accurate exchange rates from your bank or a reliable source before making a purchase. All prices provided on this site in Euro’s (and all other currencies different to £ British Pound Sterling) are guide prices only, based on exchange rates that were correct at the time of publishing.

Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or re-confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled. All prices shown on our website are explicitly clear as to whether they include or exclude VAT (and depending on which country you are ordering in VAT may not apply).

Delivery charges are clearly highlighted prior to final payment and will depend on the speed of service you choose and delivery destination point.

Credit Cards

We accept credit cards eg Visa, Mastercard and Maestro cards. We no longer accept American Express or PayPal.

If you are shopping from outside the U.K. your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency and it is your responsibility to check this rate with your bank. Any rates provided by Personal Projector are indicative only and meant as a guide.

Security

We use 128-bit SSL encryption technology to ensure that any information you transmit during the ordering process is secure. Your payments are secured by Sagepay to protect all personal information including credit card numbers, your address and any products you may order. We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.

Orders and Cancellations
When you submit an order to us on our website, you will receive an email to confirm that we are processing your order. You will then receive a second email from us acknowledging your order has been shipped for delivery. You should check both emails for accuracy and let us know immediately if there are any errors. Neither of these emails constitute acceptance of the order by us. Your order will be accepted by us (and a contract will then be formed between us) when we dispatch the goods to you. Title to the goods will pass to you on delivery. Where you have redeemed a promotional code or any other offer ("a Code") against your order, acceptance of this order is subject to our verifying that the Code has been issued to you personally, that you comply with all the terms of the offer and qualify for the Code. In the event that the Code has not been issued to you for your personal use or you do not qualify for the offer, the price of the order will be adjusted notwithstanding any email or other confirmation that you receive. All orders placed through our website will be subject to our acceptance of the order. We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason.

Shipping & Returns
We offer a premium and extremely reliable delivery service using premium couriers such as DPD or Interlink. On most products you will be kept informed of your order with full tracking and will be either emailed or sent a text to say when your parcel will arrive with a 2 hour delivery window throughout UK & Europe so you are not waiting around all day for a parcel delivery.

Delivery Information

PLEASE NOTE: From August 18th to Mon 4th Sep 2017 we will only be operating a STANDARD Delivery only service of 1 to 3 working days during our summer recess. Working days are classed as Mon to Fri. Cut off times for orders will be 2pm during this period. Pico Genie M550 Plus, P200, Qumi Q3,Q6,Q8 and Aiptek V150W projectors will most likely reach customers within 1 to 2 days.

The Shipping Cost / Shipping price is calculated based on the delivery address and will be auto calculated for you when you go through the checkout process. The costs below are an approximate indication of shipping costs:-

UK

We offer a premium and extremely reliable timed delivery service using Interlink (and very occasionally Parcelforce and Royal Mail)

Delivery Notifications - If you can provide a mobile number and/ or an email address when you place your order, Interlink will send you a text and/or an email on the day of delivery with an estimated delivery window which is normally accurate to 1 hour (For example, between 13:00 and 14:00) so you are not waiting around all day for a parcel delivery. If you download the Interlink/DPD app this can sometimes be accurate to within 15 mins notifying you exactly on the map where the driver is currently located and when he will be with you!

If the delivery address is within Europe then an estimated delivery window of 2 hours will be provided (For example, between 13:00 and 15:00). Goods are usually sent via DPD (but can be sent by a variety of different courier services including Parcelforce and Royal Mail).

Outside UK Goods are sent by a variety of couriers but mainly DPD and occasionally Parcelforce (your local country postal system).

If the delivery address is within Europe then an estimated delivery window of 2 hours will be provided (For example, between 13:00 and 15:00). Goods are usually sent via DPD (but can be sent by a variety of different courier services including Parcelforce and Royal Mail).

European Shipping- flat rates range from £14.10 to £57.58 based on all packages up to 31.5kg. For accurate costs to ship to your address, please proceed to the checkout.

Rest of World Shipping- calculated based on country and weight. For accurate costs based on your delivery address, please proceed through the checkout. Reduced rate countries include Australia, China, Japan and USA.

NOTE: We make every attempt to ensure that orders placed before 16.00 GMT / BST are delivered within the above delivery times. If you wish to place an order after 4pm please call us on 0845 121 8800 or email us as on some products its possible to still deliver even up to 5pm GMT / BST.

All UK and EU shipping costs exclude UK vat (20%).

Rest of world and non EU countries do not pay any UK vat.

Delivery Speed / Timescales
UK - We offer fast delivery worldwide including a range of timed delivery options in the UK including before 12pm and pre 10.30am as well as Next Day (before 6pm with 1 hour window delivery slots). Orders placed before 16.00 are ordinarily guaranteed to be delivered within these delivery times. If after 16.00 please call us on 0845 121 8800 or email us as on some models its possible to still deliver even up to 5pm.

International - All goods are shipped from the UK.

EU (including Channel Islands) - 2-5 working days

USA/Canada - 3-5 working days

Rest of the world - 3-7 working days.

We can also offer quotes for faster international deliveries on request. Please use our contact form or call us on 0845 121 8800 for a bespoke quote. Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. Delays are rare to our courier services but they can happen especially in busy periods and no refunds can be made for delays to any postal service whatsoever. However Interlink / DPD courier services are very reliable in general and delays are rare. We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries. For international services we use DPD or Parcelforce (and also can access Fedex, UPS, Royal Mail and DHL). We reserve the right to change these services at any time. We can offer bespoke quotes for international deliveries on request.

All items are subject to stock availability and we reserve the right to cancel any item ordered at any time and provide you with a full refund.
When we deliver your items to you will be asked to sign for the goods to acknowledge that you have received them.If your goods fail to arrive within 28 days of dispatch, you will have the option of either a full refund or a replacement shipment as soon as we have investigated with the courier.

Where an incorrect address has been given to Personal Projector Limited with the order we reserve the right to charge for any extra carriage costs incurred.

Claims for damage, delivery discrepancy etc. should be made within 24 hours of delivery and any photographic evidence should be immediately submitted. Claims will not be accepted after 24 hours. Please sign the consignment document 'UNCHECKED', as we cannot otherwise accept any claims for damage in transit.
All deliveries are made from the Personal Projector offices in the United Kingdom.

Deliveries are made by courier and require a signature on delivery, for this reason, it is not possible to deliver to a PO Box address. If a PO address is used in the address and it is returned to us you must pay for the redelivery costs to another address as its not possible to manually check all addresses for PO addresses. This applies particularly to Cyprus or countries where PO box is used as standard term on the address.

Returns

We offer a simple and easy returns service providing you with complete piece of mind and all our products come with at least a 12 month warranty. In the event of any returns simply contact us on 0845 121 8800 to arrange the return and obtain the correct return address for your product (please do not return packages without phoning or emailing first). To avoid buying a projector / item that does not suit your needs we strongly advise you to call us before purchase so we can advise you on the best pico projector for your needs and environment.

There are many instances where pico projectors are not suitable applications such as in bright light conditions, outdoors or in direct sunlight. It is worth noting that pico projectors are not as bright as traditional projectors and should always be purchased with this in mind – they are designed to be portable, easy to use and flexible enough so the user can move to a room where the lighting conditions can easily be changed to either a dark or medium light environment. In general the more expensive the pico projector the brighter the projector will be and due to their miniscule size, pico/micro or pocket projectors are NOT a replacement for traditional projectors and must be purchased for use in the right conditions. However Ultra Portable / Portable Pro range of projectors are more in line with a traditional projector's brightness levels.

When returning any package you must ensure all goods are properly packaged and boxed prior to return as any damaged goods cannot be accepted. You must pay for any return postage costs. Only packages returned in pristine condition with all packaging can be exchanged or refunded.

If any goods are returned in an incomplete manner or without pristine packaging, Personal Projector at it's discretion can either reject the returned item as incomplete and return the goods at the customers expense, or Personal Projector can charge the customer a sum equivalent to the replacement cost of the missing item - this can include small items such as manuals, cables, batteries, styli, etc. If we cannot replace the missing items then Personal Projector may charge the customer a fee to compensate Personal Projector for any replacements. Personal Projector will do everything possible to facilitate any returns or cancellations. Returning Non faulty goods:
Unlike many high street retailers or online shops we do allow returns for most of our projectors even if the product has been opened and used for testing purposes subject to it being returned in pristine condition with all the packaging. Please note due to restrictions imposed on us by certain manufacturers we cannot accept non faulty returns of any projector models from Acer, Optoma, Viewsonic, Casio, Philips, InFocus, Epson, BenQ or Aiptek therefore please be very careful to check the specification and product before purchasing as you may not be able to return them. In certain cases and at the companies discretion goods maybe accepted back with a 20% restock fee. We cannot accept non-faulty returns of the Acer V9800. All other models of projector can be returned within 14 days as per the terms below.

In the event that the customer arranges to return items which are not faulty, the customer is responsible for the bearing the cost of the return back to Personal Projector. The average weight of units shipped is between 1-5kg which costs approximately £8 to return via courier (based on Royal Mail rates June 2015). The customer is responsible for ensuring that the unit is returned securely, safely and in new condition. The unit must be returned in appropriate protective outer packaging to ensure its safe arrival back to Personal Projector as the customer is responsible for any damage caused to the unit before its return. Any items received in non-new condition may be refused for return or may be subject to a restock fee at Personal Projector's discretion.

You have 14 days to apply for a refund (if the goods are faulty see below). Once you have emailed Personal Projector (using the contact form above) and notified us of your return you have 7 working days to return the product. If outside of this period we reserve the right to refuse the goods without refund or to charge a 20% restocking fee at our discretion.  You can either arrange a free exchange for another product or request a refund. Only one exchange can be made per customer per order.  After 14 days, returns will only be accepted in the event the goods are faulty. Goods that are returned for repair in December/ January may incur an extra 2/3 weeks processing time due to Chinese new year and other holidays. 

Returning Faulty Goods:
Most products come with a 12 month warranty and some products come with a 3 year (Vivitek) or even 5 year warranty or 10,000 hour use (Casio products). Batteries (if in-built in the projector) are classed as consumables and include a maximum 6 month warranty. Any products must be used only with the original power supplies to avoid infringing the warranty.

If the product is within the warranty period please contact us on 0845 121 8800. We will inform you where the goods need to be returned so we can arrange a repair. Please DO NOT send to any of the addresses marked on the website or this will considerably delay your return. Claims for damage, delivery discrepancy etc. should be made within 7 days of delivery - claims will not be accepted after this time. Please note, in cases of claiming for damage the product and the packaging must be retained for inspection, otherwise this will invalidate any claim submitted.

Returning Goods Outside the UK

Please note the customer is responsible for returning goods back to the UK at their cost whether the goods are faulty or unwanted within 14 days of order.

VAT, Import Duty and Other Sales Taxes
All prices listed on the site exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is charged on all shipping costs including postage and packaging. For all countries outside of the EU, for example USA, Switzerland or Taiwan - no VAT is charged. Our VAT registration number is GB 939 712589.
Many countries charge duty on goods at the point of import. You should always confirm what the import tax and duties will be before placing your order, these charges will normally be accepted by the courier used to deliver your goods and passed on to you at the point of delivery. It is your responsibility to pay these charges. Please note this charge is levied by your government not by Personal Projector and we have no control over it. If you or someone acting on your behalf rejects the goods at the point of delivery then Personal Projector Limited will charge you for all the associated delivery and administration charges.  Import taxes can be calculated usually online by your government website.

Pricing

Whilst we endeavor to ensure the prices on our website are as accurate as possible, we reserve the right to change a price in exceptional circumstances. If a price is corrected due to exceptional circumstances, customers will be informed of the change before payment is processed and offered the opportunity to cancel the order. Business Customers If you are a business, you will not export any goods purchased from us in contravention of United States of America export controls.

If you have a trade or credit account with us payment is due 7 days after the date of our invoice and we may charge interest for late payment calculated monthly at 4%. If you wish to return any goods that are not faulty we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of twenty percent. Once we inform you where to return the goods you agree to return the goods to us within 7 days. In the event the goods are not returned after 7 days of notification we reserve the right to refuse returned goods without refund.

General
The use of our site and any contracts formed are governed by English law.We shall not be responsible to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for incidental, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, any loss of profit (direct or indirect), loss of sales, loss of goodwill or reputation, loss of business, third party claims, pure economic loss arising out of or in connection of the performance or non performance of our obligations under these terms and conditions including such damage as may be reasonably foreseeable at the date you order the goods.Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or restrict our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.Our liability for any claim for loss or damage shall be limited to the sum paid by you for the goods. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court the invalidity or unenforceability of such provision shall not affect the other provisions of these terms and conditions. We may assign or transfer any of our rights or sub contract any of our obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party.You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or sub contract any of your obligations under these terms and conditions except with our specific permission in writing. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and any such changes will be communicated on our website.There are from time to time links on our website to third party websites which we believe may be of interest to you. We do not have any control over the content of these websites nor can we be liable in respect of anything contained on these websites.These terms and conditions govern the entire trading relationship between you and ourselves and will remain in force for the duration of our trading relationship.All intellectual property rights (including use of trade marks) shall be solely owned by us.
